Dalton Glen Doyle

HI ALL! We are excited to share with you that Dalton Glen Doyle is here!!! He was born at 3:28am on Sunday, May 31st. Yes, that was his due date! He is 8 pounds, 21.5 inches long. We had a day full of labor and got to ten centimeters. Once I started pushing, Dalton's heart rate would drop dramatically...so after monitoring that for about 5 sets of 3 pushes each, our doc decided we needed a C-section. Glad he did! Dalton's umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck 2 times- no wondered his heart rate dropped. WE HAVE A HAPPY, HEALTHY LIL GUY!!! ENJOY THE PICS AND SENDING YOU ALL HUGS! Now it is time to rest after a long day and night! We'll post more pictures over the next few days!

Walk, walk, walk!

What's one way to encourage the baby to arrive??? WALK!!! That we did as we strolled around the San Ramon Art and Wind Festival. (Yes, it was a bit windy and cool!) We wandered around the vendors, checked out the CALSTAR helicopter and ate a picnic in the park. Here we are! 1 week till due date...Feeling pretty good though!

Our Biggest Baby (for now!)

Ok, I am not a crazy cat lady...BUT I was being lazy today, reading in bed and looked over at our cat napping in the window. Boy, Oscar the cat isn't going to give up his "baby" role easily! Thank goodness Travis pampers him because this cat is like a human! (Trav has vowed to keep this going post Dalton too.) Oscar also plays fetch like a dog! It is a hoot! Did I mention this cat is 18 pounds?!? Really he is in GREAT health.:)

OK...No laughing! Here's the pic many of you who haven't seen me in a while have been asking for...Can I possibly get any bigger?!? I really think my nose has gotten bigger too...What's up with that?!

(FYI: For those of you who don't know Finn...This cutie was born on April 11th. He is my dear friends Melissa and Matt's lil man...What a wonderful baby! We love him (and his parents) and will miss them tremendously when they move to Maryland soon. Boo hoo! Fortunately they will be back in a few years, just in time for our boys to start making memories together!
