Halloween (and a little treat!)

We decided to take Dalton to the Farmer's Market and Pumpkin Patch today. (I couldn't miss it, even if I have not been feeling too well...Caught some kind of "bug" BUT happy to report no fever today though!)
It was interesting trying to get him to smile for the camera...never really happened actually. But did manage to get some cute shots! He was a lion. The sweetpea costume (the one that Nanny bought him (last year) right after she found out she was going to be a grandma) didn't quite fit and he shared his discontent very clearly. I think he thought he was being put in a straight jacket....LOL! Thank goodness, Auntie M (Marlene) had Trevor's lion costume from his first Halloween for Dalton to wear. She handmade it too, which was even more special.

Here we are:

ROAR!!!! (Ok really, just yawning....)Laughing...this kiddo sure can make you smile!
It wasn't long before Dalton was asleep.
Here's the "treat"....The photo below is one I didn't know about...it was on Travis's camera....from a trip we took in mid-September with Nanny, Uncle Derek, and Auntie Candace to Coloma. We spent the day at the river and stayed at a cute bed and breakfast for the night. I couldn't resist posting this picture of Dalton being held by Nanny...The glasses didn't last long.:)

Lots of changes!!!

Well, many changes have happened over the last month...The top one on our list was BUYING A HOUSE!!!! (I promise to take pics soon to post...just haven't quite gotten that far yet.) I guess being a full time teacher and new mom just wasn't enough excitement! We bought a three bedroom, two and half bathroom townhouse in Dublin. We couldn't be happier!

Dalton is now 5 months old. So hard to believe!!! This past weekend Kellyn, Annika and Greg were here for a visit. It was great to have my sister's decorating expertise! Of course, we absolutely LOVED having Kellyn here too! On Sunday, Dalton, Kellyn and I sat in the chair in Dalton's room and read! LOTS! I loved the cuddle time! Dalton has a new favorite...his Jumperoo bouncy . He really gets moving on this. Of course, he stops for a break to chew on his finger. This kiddo sure is teething!
A couple weekends ago my mom came for a visit. Without her help I don't think we could have moved!!!! Dalton loved having Grammy here too! I know the photo below is not the best in quality (figures I would play with the settings on my camera when he decides to smile.) BUT I had to include it...he was all smiles with Grammy!
This is his favorite look...chew on that lip! He still is fascinated with the camera, and is almost impossible to get a smiling photo of him. He is too intent on staring at the camera!

We often call Dalton "Squirt", so this little onesie that says "Little Squirt" is on of our favorites.
We will try to post soon! Especially with Halloween just around the corner!
