I figured it was time to update...Thanksgiving has come and gone, now Christmas is just around the corner. Dalton has been Mr. Happy lately and is becoming quite the charmer as you can see below.
Today Dalton had his 6 month shots and checkup. He is doing wonderful! He is 29.5 inches long and 20.5 pounds! (No wonder that car seat is heavy!!!) He is in the 98th percentile for his height and 91st percentile for his weight...This kid is no joke! We are so blessed that he is so happy and healthy. He was babbling and smiling at his doctor today...The doctor just loved him too...can you blame him?!??! (LOL!) Lots on milestones are being met...including the fact that he can now sit up on his own!
Last night, Uncle Derek and Auntie Candace came over for a quick visit. At dinner he played in his new highchair and actually relaxed as we ate! What a cool kid!

One of his new favorite things to do is lay on the floor and play with us. He giggles and babbles at ton! It is so cute! I call this photo: "Hello!"

Life has gotten even more exciting now that Dalton sits in a highchair and eats rice cereal! That's right, folks....Dalton ate his first bite the day after Thanksgiving...Boy was he thankful! He was a pro at it too! Must be from my family...loves to eat!!!! He opened his little mouth like a birdie.

After his second bite he was thoughtfully eating...

Then onto other things to bite and chew...

He sure loves his daddy!!!

The next morning he was Mr. Happy.

Thankgiving morning wiped him out!

Love this peaceful face...right before he nodded off.

After a good rest he was ready to JUMP! This Johnny Jump Up was a life saver at my parents' house while we were there at Thanksgiving. He just loved it!

I had to end with a series of pictures. He is rolling over now too. It is so funny because you can see him thinking it all through before he rolls...sometimes it takes a bit to warm up....

Once he is up usually he is one happy boy....usually....

but not this day...some days I think he big head is just too much! (yes he has a big head, not bobble head, but big! He is in the 99th percentile for that one!)

In reality though, he is getting pretty good at rolling over...and most days are not like this.
More adventures to come!!! (Really some day those new house photos will make it on here!)
