Birthday fun!

WOW!  How did that happen?!?!?  Dalton will be 2 years old tomorrow, May 31st.  So in honor of his special day we had a birthday party yesterday with our family and friends.  It was a PERFECT day!  The kiddos had a blast! The parents and family members got a rare chance to enjoy the company of one another too!
The weather here has been cool, windy and even rainy on Saturday!  So, for those of you that know me, I mean really know me, I was PANICKED on the inside all day Saturday.  Despite my worries, Sunday's weather was MUCH improved, in fact it ended up being very lovely!  We had the party at a really cool park in Danville called Hap Magee Ranch Park.  (If you live in the area, check it out.  It is such a great place to hang out with the kiddos.)

 The party favors were personal buckets including shovels, sand molds, bubbles, sidewalk chalk and of course, Goldfish crackers.  (Thank you Dollar Store!)

 After some snacking it was time to play in the water with all his friends.  They ran around like crazy! Then when they got tired they would stop to say hi to Poppi and his doggie, Gracie.  Then back at it again!

And after lots of playing, eating and chatting, it was CAKE TIME!!

 And before we knew it the evening was upon us and we had the best afternoon celebrating one lucky little boy!  Words will never be enough to say how blessed we are to have the most wonderful friends and family to share this special day with.   Thank you for making this day a memorable time for all of us! We love you!
