We have been having SO much fun lately! Dalton is talking so much more and each day surprises us with new words. (Fortunately no bad words...yet....)
He has a BLAST outside now that the weather is getting better. So we decided it's never to early to get him to like baseball. Which he of course was game to try.:)
Last night when he went to bed he couldn't stop talking about going to his friend Rory's house for an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday afternoon. He kept saying her name and then added "Rory's house...BUBBLES! and SLIDE!" I was amazed at his memory...We haven't been over there in over 2 months and he remembered it so clearly! I am in awe at these little kiddos minds and abilities!
Here's some pictures from the fun at the Rory's house. Dalton found most of his eggs on his FAVORITE spot in Rory's backyard, the slide!!! Very conveniently placed eggs I might add!
One of the highlights of the egg hunt was when Dalton found a plastic egg on the platter that had cake pops (kinda like donut holes) on it. He snatched the egg and then a cake ball. After that he would NOT put the cake ball down. It took him FOREVER to eat it too. He wouldn't put it down to climb the ladder on the slide, go down the slide, seesaw or to ride a car.
"CHEESE!" or shall we say "CAKE !"
Yes, the cake ball is still in his hand!
Looking forward to more family fun tomorrow on Easter day!
I hope you have a wonderful Easter! We had a blast on our very own egg hunt, too. Hugs to all!
