Pumpkins, corn anyone?!?

This past Saturday we went to the Pumpkin Patch with my cousin/"sister" Marlene, my "nephew" Trevor, and Travis's mom.   As soon as we arrived Dalton raced over to a pumpkin on the ground and picked it up with excitement.  He's a tough lil dude!  He was running around the hay maze concentrating so hard that his tongue was out (Like mother, like son)!  He didn't want ANYTHING to do with playing in the giant corn kernel "sandbox".  He actually crawled up from my arms onto my shoulder to get as far away as possible.  As I poured some kernels onto his legs later on, he acted as if I was pouring hot water on him...NOT happy!  Trevor on the other hand LOVED it!  Dalton REALLY wanted to ride one of the ponies, BUT as soon as he was put on the pony....instant freak out (I should have known better)!  The fun ended on a fun note with a "cow train" ride with Daddy!

Check out that face!  It went from complete content to complete fear.  Funny!  Glad his smile returned fairly quickly.
The day wouldn't have been complete without a race through the patch.

I can't wait til Thanksgiving now!  Bring on more family time!!!

ahhhh....Fall is in the air! Family fun times too!

Don't have much time BUT have TONS of pics that I haven't had a chance to post.  We've had a great month and were able to celebrate my aunt and uncle's 50th anniversary in Southern Cal!  It was SUPER fun and we LOVED being with part of the family that we don't see often.  Dalton was awesome on the plane.  The family time was MUCH needed!

SO without further "stories" you will have to imagine....Make up a story...it probably is close....(I am short on time no matter what lately!!! Will this ever change?!?!)

Dalton chillin' with the big cousins...he was chatting and tossing the ball up while he talked just like a big kid!
The McElmurry and Gauderman clan:)  THE BEST!
The next night it was PARTY time!
 The cousins rocked out!
 Dalton and Trav "dancing".
Our family picture...too bad the lighting is off...

Mom and Dad cut a rug!
Kellyn and cousin Riley had a blast dancing!
While Dalton took pictures of me and others too...not bad for a two year old:)
Dalton clapped and LOVED the music.  Plus he couldn't get enough of the cousins and was a total trooper, even though he was sick...
 The look says it all....trouble....
Can't wait to get together with that side of the family again! We've already made plans for this summer to meet up!

Here's just a couple end of summer pictures that make me MISS the lazy afternoons and evenings...I WANT THEM BACK!!!

Dalton has been so funny lately and he talks like a little chatterbox...Wonder where he gets that from??!?  lol!  He's a lil too smart for his own good sometimes too.  Being 2 1/2 is rough!  BUT super rewarding!
Keep you posted on the Halloween and Fall adventures....
