This past Saturday we went to the Pumpkin Patch with my cousin/"sister" Marlene, my "nephew" Trevor, and Travis's mom. As soon as we arrived Dalton raced over to a pumpkin on the ground and picked it up with excitement. He's a tough lil dude! He was running around the hay maze concentrating so hard that his tongue was out (Like mother, like son)! He didn't want ANYTHING to do with playing in the giant corn kernel "sandbox". He actually crawled up from my arms onto my shoulder to get as far away as possible. As I poured some kernels onto his legs later on, he acted as if I was pouring hot water on him...NOT happy! Trevor on the other hand LOVED it! Dalton REALLY wanted to ride one of the ponies, BUT as soon as he was put on the pony....instant freak out (I should have known better)! The fun ended on a fun note with a "cow train" ride with Daddy!
Check out that face! It went from complete content to complete fear. Funny! Glad his smile returned fairly quickly.
The day wouldn't have been complete without a race through the patch.
I can't wait til Thanksgiving now! Bring on more family time!!!
Dude, corn kernals and ponies, two of the scariest things I can think of. Way to scar your child for life!
ReplyDeleteThose aren't scary! CLOWNS are! Now that'll scar a kid!
